Paintbrush Settings

When the paintbrush feature is enabled, users can use the mouse to paint on the locked desktop.

Paintbrush is functional only in the lock modes "Screen", "Desktop" and "Clear". In other lock modes, even if the paintbrush is enabled, there is no surface available for painting.

Brush width

Specify the width of the paintbrush, or disable the paintbrush. The default setting is Auto, allowing Desktop Lock to determine the brush width based on the resolution of the primary monitor. To set a specific width, select Customize from the dropdown box and enter the desired width.

To disable the paintbrush, select Disabled from the dropdown box. When the paintbrush is disabled, users will be unable to paint on the locked screen, regardless of the lock mode.

Brush color

Specify the color of the paintbrush. You can select Choose from the dropdown box to pick a color, or select Random color to use random colors.

Option: right-click to clear

If this option is enabled, users can right-click on the locked screen to erase all painted content, restoring the locking screen to its original condition.
