Desktop Lock can display a banner on the locking screen, indicating that the system is currently locked.
To let Desktop Lock create a banner with the default text, select from the dropdown box. The default text is the predefined banner text in the language file. This feature is to better support multiple languages.
If you don't want to show a banner on the locking screen, you can select .
To customize banner text, select then enter your desired text. The use of multiple lines is supported with "\n". For example, "a\nb\nc" will format the banner into 3 separate lines. Click to choose font and color for the banner.

It is obvious that if the text does not span multiple lines, the text alignment will have no impact.
The type for horizontal and vertical alignments, allows the banner to move in the specified direction.
If the text alignment is set to , the final text alignment will be determined by the horizontal alignment. For instance, if the horizontal alignment is set to "center", the lines of text will also be centered relative to one another.
In comparison to previous versions, Desktop Lock has significantly enhanced the banner alignment options. Earlier versions offered only a single option "banner position".
