Password Protecting Programs

There are several ways to protect a program:

Use Installed Programs List:
Double-click on any item in the Installed Programs List to protect the selected program.
Use Drag and Drop feature:
Drag and drop this iconto the main window of a program, Password Door will automatically capture the program and protect it.
Browse for the program:
You can click the icon to browse for a program to protect it.

Password Protecting is not the only option for a protected program. You can also set the protected program to be blocked directly without asking for password, or allow the program always. For more information, see Allow/Deny/Password Protect.

Setting Admin Password

The admin password is very important to Password Door. It protects the main program of Password Door, only with the correct admin password, users can modify the settings of Password Door, protect or remove the protection for programs.

Admin password is also the default password for protected programs, this means you always can launch a protected program with the admin password.

The Setup asked you to specify the admin password during installing Password Door. You can change your admin password by clicking Change Admin Password in the Options page of Password Door main program at any time.
